Mumbai, July 28: The numero-uno show of India Television Industry 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' completed 100 episodes recently.
The comedy show which is aired on weekends became the most popular show on TV. 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' is hosted and produced by Kapil Sharma. The show is famous for it's characters like Gutthi, Palak, Dadi, Bua and Manju. The show also had to go through many controversies.
The set once caught fire and Sunil Grover left the show in the middle. But all these controversies never affected the popularity of the show.
'Comedy Nights With Kapil' was planned only as 26 episodes, but the popularity of the show made the channel extend the episodes. Kapil wanted to take a break from the show recently to concentrate on his acting debut, but the channel rejected his idea and asked him to continue the show as the TRP's of the show were very high.
