Guru Dutt's son dies due to kidney failure

Mumbai, July 28: Actor-director Guru Dutt's son Arun Dutt died in Pune due to kidney failure. He was 58.

Arun Dutt is survived by wife Kavita and two daughters Gouri and Karuna. He worked as the director of Guru Dutt Films Acting Academy.

"My father passed away on Saturday afternoon in Pune. He had been unwell from the past one year. He was suffering from multiple complications but the major reason was kidney failure. His funeral took place on Saturday night,"said Gouri Dutt.
