New Delhi, July 23 (IANS): The national capital Wednesday saw a cloudy overcast sky, with the maximum temperature recorded at 34.1 degrees Celsius, average for the season. The Met Office has forecast Thursday to be cloudy too.
"The skies will remain generally cloudy Thursday with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to hover around 34 and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Wednesday's minimum temperature settled a notch above average at 28.2 degrees Celsius, while the humidity wavered between a high and low of 84 and 64 percent, respectively.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 36 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum was recorded at 29.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above average.
