Panaji, Jul 27: Goa Union of Journalists have invited entries from its members for three different awards – Cyril D'Cunha, Lambert Mascarenhas and Best Photo award.
Cyril D'Cunha award will be given for the best page lay out in two different categories – vernacular and English, while Lambert Mascarenhas award is for the best stories.
This year, GUJ have instituted special best photo award for the photo-journalists. News stories published during the year 2003-04, 2004-05 and 2005-06 will be accepted for the Lambert Mascarenhas award.
Another award would be given for the stories published during last three consecutive years.
Members are requested to submit their entries on or before August 25 to the GUJ office at Shramshakti Bhavan, Sixth Floor, Patto, Panaji, Goa. The GUJ office will be open between Monday to Saturday between 10 am to 1 pm.
