London, June 8 (IANS): It is time to feed your hubby well as men who are hungry tend to be drawn to curvy, large women.
"If a man is hungry, he prefers a slightly larger breast size in women. He also prefers slightly larger women in general," said psychologist Viren Swami from University of Westminster in Britain.
Not just men, the same applies to females as hungry women were drawn towards "heavy set" men, he added.
According to the research, the contents of a person's stomach can influence the type of mate they will seek out.
To prove his point, Swami asked a group of men in various stages of hunger to rate a selection of women's attractiveness.
He found that those who had not eaten for a while tended to be more drawn to large women.
However, the research discovered that the need for women died down after men had eaten a good meal.
"Hunger can change your perception of who is attractive," Swami was quoted as saying in a report that appeared on London-based web site Metro.
