BJP's Yashwant Sinha Sent to Jail for Alleged Assault

Hazaribagh, Jun 3 (PTI):  Senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha and 54 others were remanded in judicial custody by a local court today after they refused to seek bail in a case of alleged assault of a Jharkhand State Electricity Board official.

Judicial Magistrate R B Pal sent them to judicial custody for 14 days after Sinha and others refused to take bail.

Sinha and others were arrested yesterday after JSEB's Hazaribagh branch General Manager Dhanesh Jha filed an FIR, accusing them of tying him up during a demonstration on electricity crisis by the BJP's district unit.

Sinha had admitted before the media yesterday that he had "instructed" the party's women activists to tie up Jha using a rope.

"Yes, I asked them to tie the hands of the GM as women are the worst sufferers for not getting power. Their children's education is also suffering,"  Sinha had told reporters.

The Dy SP had rescued  Jha from the women.

Jha had said that the incident was "humiliating and insulting."

Yashwanth Sinha will be next Governor of Karnataka State. So take care, get ready for more. What he did in Jarkhand is right. Without power how people will live? Children's are the worst sufferers. Let's not comment like Dinesh or Jeewan! Right is right wrong is wrong. Party doesn't matter. If congress does wrong be bold to say its wrong. If BJP does wrong criticize. But never support the wrong doings of any party? By that way it's we who are spoiling the politicians. So be fair in your comments.
BJP in state n congress in centre lost bcz of their supporters in wrong doing. Let it be a lesson to all of us.

Nobody is above law. Sinha or Kannha. Protest in the favourite of society is a democratic right but it does not mean that you take law into your own hands and create disturbance, vandalize property or injury personnel. Vandalisem in the name of of protest suits only some people and party in the society like it happend in Azad maidaan or Master Hiranaiah. Yashwanth Sinha should have known that it's not the official fault but the respective ministry or govt s fault and it should be fought or protested democratically. This is not jungle Raj and as a senior face of the party it also dents the party's image in the eyes of people. As he is responsible for his action just like Nautanki Kejriwal, Sinha needs to spend some time in krishnas Janmasthala.

Sh Ismail, this is a democracy & in judicial custody, to give bail or not to give is an individuals prerogative. If you remember Kejriwala tried this stunt to go to jail I assume Yashwant Singh too is in a similar frame of mind. However to protest is also his wish only...Lets see, he would be bailed out ASAP by the party as he is aged & will not have the toughness to spend more time in jail...

Why Bail???? What he did is correct. Now BJP is in rule, they must make a rule that any citizen of this country got a right to punish the official if it is delivered. i.e. If gas price is increased, the main suffers are ladies. They must allow our ladies to catch our fuel minister and give the same punishment. question is whether the ruling parities will accept this???
