Warm Tuesday in Delhi, Wednesday to be similar


New Delhi, May 20 (IANS): Delhi experienced a warm Tuesday with the maximum temperature recorded at 39.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. The Met Office has forecast a warm Wednesday.

"Skies will be clear and the day warm," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 38 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature Tuesday settled at 26.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.

Monday's maximum temperature was a notch above the season's average at 38.3 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled two notches below the season's average at 24 degrees Celsius.
