Four killed in Haryana accident


Gurgaon, May 20 (IANS): At least four people were killed Tuesday when a van carrying them fell into a canal in Haryana, police said.

Five people, including the van driver, were on their way to replenish cash in ATMs when their vehicle fell into the canal at about 1.30 p.m. in Punahana town, police said.

Punahana is located some 85 km from here. 

"Three people died on the spot, while the fourth succumbed to his injuries on way to a hospital. Another critically injured person was admitted to hospital," a senior police officer told IANS.
