Nine killed in Egyptian bus fall


Cairo, May 19 (IANS): At least nine people were killed when a minibus fell into a river in Egyptian governorate of Minya Sunday, killing at least nine people, state media reported.

The accident occurred after the bus driver lost control of the wheel, leading to the accident, Xinhua reported.

The minibus was carrying 15 passengers from a big family who were on their way back from a funeral, state media reported, adding six of the passengers were rescued by a river searching team.
