29 killed in Syria car bomb blast


Washington, May 15 (IANS): At least 29 people were killed and dozens wounded Thursday in a car bomb blast in Syria near Turkish border, an opposition group said.

The incident occurred at the Sajo bus station near the Bab al-Salama border crossing, CNN quoted the opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights as saying. 

The civil war in Syria has left well over 100,000 people dead and millions displaced, according to the UN.
