BJP files complaint against inflammatory SMSes


New Delhi, May 15 (IANS): BJP leader Vijender Gupta Thursday submitted a written complaint against circulation of inflammatory SMSes that, he said, affect the party's image, according to police here.

The Bharatiya Janata Party leader met Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi at Police Headquarters and complained that the messages might disturb peace and harmony in the city.

Confirming the news, Gupta told IANS: "I met the commissioner and he assured me that he would take action against such activity."
