Three members of family shot dead in Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 16 (IANS): Three members of a family were shot dead here inside their house due to personal rivalry, police said Sunday.

Om Prakash, his wife Shanti Devi, both in their late 50s, and their 21-year-old son Rinku were attacked by a group of armed men at their house in south Delhi's Jaitpur area Saturday night.

Rinku died on the spot, while his parents died later at the hospital.

Police said this is the case of personal rivalry and they are investigating the matter. Those accused of gunning the family down are missing and on the run.
