Parliament disrupted again


New Delhi, Feb 11 (IANS): Both houses of parliament lost the question hour again owing to protests over Telangana and other issues.

In the Lok Sabha, barely minutes after the house met, members favouring as well as opposing the proposed state of Telangana rushed to the well of the house.

While Seemandhra members carried placards hailing a united Andhra Pradesh, Telangana members shouted slogans demanding early creation of the separate state.

Amid chaos, Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the house till 12 noon.

Similar scenes were seen in the Rajya Sabha where members rushed near chairman's podium.

Amid the pandemonium, Chairman M. Hamid Ansari adjourned the house first for 10 minutes and then till 12 noon.
