New Delhi, Jan 24 (IANS): It was a pleasant Friday morning in Delhi and the minimum temperature settled three notches above the season's average at 11 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast a clear day ahead.
"The afternoon will be clear and it will be sunny. There will be light fog in the evening," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 19 degrees Celsius.
Thursday's minimum temperature was recorded at 13.5 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season's average, while the maximum temperature settled at 20.1 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
