Unflattering fashion trends turned cool in 2013

New York, Dec 24 (IANS): Flashy logos or all-over leather can't be called appealing or flattering. But the year 2013 saw those trends returning on the runway or fashion stores.

Huffingtonpost.com shares a list of "ugly" trends that became cool in 2013:

- Flashy logos: Flaunting apparel with logos of the brand you are wearing is now cool. Popular fashion labels like DKNY and Pucci came up with collections that highlighted their logo.

- All-over leather: From gloves to bags to jackets, brands like Prada, Mulberry and Gucci presented their new all-over leather ranges on the ramp.

- Flatforms: The hoof-like shoes graced the collections of Tibi and Alice Olivia this year.

- Coloured fur: Be it real or faux, coloured fur has now become a trend. Thanks to Anna Sui and Michael Kors.
