Los Angeles, Dec 23 (IANS): Pop star Beyonce Knowles gave away gift cards worth $37,500 to her fans after making an impromptu appearance at Walmart in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
The 32-year-old surprised the Christmas shoppers by her visit and presented 750 customers with $50 gift cards, enclosed within envelopes that read, "Happy Holidays from Beyonce".
Usmagazine.com reports that a store manager said that the singer also bought a few toys, including a baby doll, for her and her husband Jay Z's 23-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, and purchased $37,500 worth of gift vouchers.
The "Single ladies" hitmaker was spotted in a aqua-coloured crop top and matching skirt. She teamed it up with a leather jacket.
