Man tried to sell bark collected from Walker's crash site

Los Angeles, Dec 9 (IANS): A man tried to sell stolen pieces of burned bark that he took from the tree actor Paul Walker crashed into. Later, the thief had a change of heart.

The “Fast and Furious” star, along with friend Roger Rodas, died in a car accident Nov 30 in Santa Clarita, California.

The seller says he took six pieces of charred tree from the crash site and put them on online shopping site eBay and asked for at least $100 per item, reports tmz.com.

But he soon changed his mind (which might have had something to do with hate mail he received) and he decided to pull the auction.

"I would like to apologise to the family, friends, and fans of Paul Walker. At the time, I listed the bark for sale, I did not realise the emotional impact it would have,” said the seller.
