Mumbai, Dec 6: Actor Imran Khan's wife Avantika Malik who had been suffering from dengue and had gone to get it tested, came out with the confirmation that she was already three months pregnant. Given that they have 6 more months to go, the couple can expect their little one to arrive in June, 2014.  The couple had wed in January 2011 after a decade of being in a relationship. This is their first child.

Imran expressed his fond wish for a daughter while revealing that Avantika hoped for a son. He added that their completely opposite wishes, meant that there was a lot of ongoing fights on the names for their unborn child.  Avantika, it seems has downloaded an app to keep her regularly informed on her stage of the pregnancy and what she needed to do for herself and the baby. The 30 year old actor said that he believed he was more ready for a child than his wife.

The recently released 'Gori Tere Pyaar Main' actor said that he wanted his child to imbibe some of his wife's finest qualities such as her love for life, her warmth and her ability to make people comfortable around  her. Imran has had Avantika in a blink and you miss role in most of his movies, as he considers her his lucky charm.

The new parents-to-be seem very excited and here's wishing them the very best of luck as they eagerly await their first bundle of joy.
