Bantwal, Apr 19: Sadananda, president of Navoor unit of Bajrang Dal, has been taken into custody by the Bantwal police in connection with the attack on the Belivers' Church of India's prayer-house near here on Easter Sunday.
The property of the prayer-house was damaged to the extent of Rs 20,000 by two or three and the pastor physically assaulted by masked assailants on April 16, according to police sources.
The assault took place while about 20 persons from other communities were taking part in the prayer. One Harish Sapalya had been injured in the attack.
