Hrithik going abroad for check up, not surgery: Rakesh Roshan

Daijiworld Media Network - Entertainment

Mumbai, Dec 2: Rakesh Roshan on Monday confirmed that his son actor Hrithik Roshan was leaving to go abroad today, but merely for a medical check up as opposed to the rumours doing the rounds that he was going to the US for surgery. He refuted the alarming reports and denied any knowledge of its source too.

Hrithik Roshan, would apparently only be away for a week or a fortnight at the most, again rather than the extended period that had been reported earlier. The actor had undergone a surgery for subdural hematoma and had complaints of his headaches returning, sometime back. It was widely believed that he was going to have to undergo another surgery in order to rid himself of his headaches.

His father however said, while Hrithik was keen to get to the real reason of his headaches as well as eliminate them for good, he wasn't going to be under a surgeon's knife this time.

The 'Krrish 3' star will be flying to the US with a friend and not his family members. His parents would only join him if the need arose. Hrithik being on sick leave has effectively put a hold on the shooting of his upcoming movies such as 'Shuddi' and 'Bang Bang'.
