Shooting begins for Vidya Balan's 'Bobby Jasoos'


Mumbai, Dec 2 (PTI): The shooting for Vidya Balan starrer spy-thriller 'Bobby Jasoos' has begun in Hyderabad. The film will be shot in one schedule, over a span of 55
days for a summer 2014 release.

'Bobby Jasoos', being produced by Born Free Entertainment's Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha, began shooting from November 23. The story revolves around a woman who's solitary dream is to become the numero uno private eye of her community.

Vidya's co-stars include Ali Fazal, Arjan Bajwa, Anupriya, Supriya Pathak, Tanvi Azmi, Aakash Dahiya and Rajender Gupta amongst others. 'Bobby Jasoos' also marks the return of Kiran Kumar who has been away from the big screen for sometime.

Shantanu Moitra and Swanand Kirkire have reunited again for the music of the film. "The idea of 'Bobby Jasoos' was born over a year and a half ago! Today, blessed with an ideal cast and fantastic crew we are ready to roll and nothing gives me more pleasure. Vidya has ably led from the front and her dedication to preparing for this part is evidence to the fact that she is an actor who continues to respects the craft and is hungry for more despite achieving so much already," Mirza said in a statement.

"We are ready to give it our best and are confident that the audience will find Bobby Jasoos to be well worth the short wait," Sangha added.
