Mangalore, Apr 17 (5-45 pm): Former deputy premier and union home minister Lal Kishen Advani flew into the city at 12-30 am amidst tight security.
He then drove to the Circuit House where he addressed the media at 1-45 pm. He was accompanied by BJP general secretary Ananth Kumar, MP Sadananda Gowda, MLAs Yogish Bhat and Krishna Palemar, minister Nagaraj Shetty and other party functionaries.
At 2-00 pm he left for Kasaragod where he was to address an election rally. Upon return from there, at 5-30 pm, he was scheduled to leave Mangalore by a special flight.
