Mangalore, Apr 17: Shahanaz M, writer, columnist and editor of Anupama Kannada monthly magazine for women, has won two more awards recently.

In the state-level literary competition, her collection of short stories 'Avala Dhwani' (Her Voice) has won the Rukminibai award for 2006.

Further, in recognition of her social service, Shahanaz has also been presented the Jeejabai Award 2006 to mark the 379th birthday of Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
