Saif Ali Khan comes late, lashes out at media in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 28: Saif Ali Khan was in the city to participate in a bike rally along with his co-star for the soon to be released movie Bullett Raja but arrived three hours too late for the event. When asked to apologise for making everyone wait, he angrily lashed out at the gathered media, saying that he was late due to traffic and not through a fault of his own making.

He further retorted angrily that he would have strived to be on time if he had been informed of the right time by the Delhi Election Office which had organised the rally to increase awareness among voters on their need to exercise their voting rights.

Director Tigmanshu Dhullia tried to douse the situation by apologising on behalf of everyone but when  the people present refused to be placated, Saif added fuel to the fire by exclaiming that he would have preferred to have held the press conference in Mumbai itself.

He further vowed never to come to Delhi again. Some people shouted out for Saif to go back on this note. Saif Ali Khan questioned the media as to their mob-like behaviour when they should have been composed and collected professionals.

It is believed that Saif did apologise to some people as he left the venue and this was confirmed by District Election Officer (North) A M More.
