Udupi, Apr 14: Lok Sabha member Manorama Madhwaraj, in a press release, has informed that she has recommended release of funds up to Rs 5 lac for repairs and maintenance of the Malpe-Thottam road.

The amount will be made available from the local development fund allotted to her under MP fund for 2006-07.

Paver finishing of the road from the Citizen Cirlce on Malpe Madhwaraj Road up to Thottam via Vadabhandeshwar would be covered by these funds, says the press release.
