Ronan Keating wishes he enjoyed Boyzone days more

Los Angeles, Nov 25 (IANS): Singer Ronan Keating wished he had more fun during the initial years of Boyzone band as a member.

The band was formed in 1993 and initially comprised Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch and Stephen Gately. However, it was left as a four-piece band after Gately's death in 2009.

Keating realised the need of enjoying his stint with the band after dining with singer Niall Horan, who is part of the now famous band One Direction, reports contactmusic.com.

"One Direction came on 'The X Factor' and Niall and I hung out a little bit and went out for dinner. He's a great lad. They're living the dream, but they're working so hard," said Keating.

"I know what it's like when you don't get to appreciate what you're doing. I wish we had enjoyed those first six years of Boyzone more, but One Direction look like they're having a good time," he added.
