'Happy New Year' looks exciting: Big B


Mumbai, Nov 23 (IANS): Megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently watched bits of director Farah Khan's upcoming movie "Happy New Year". He has given it a thumbs up.

The movie stars Shah Rukh Khan, Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.

"Farah Khan and Shah Rukh show me some rushes of 'Happy New Year' and it looks so grand and big and exciting and lots of fun," Big B posted on his blog.

The movie is slated to release next year.

Big B caught up with the "Happy New Year" cast at the Mehboob Studio where he was shooting for "Bhoothnath Returns".

Sunny Deol is his own biggest critic

Actor Sunny Deol says he is the biggest critic of his work and knows it very well when his performance is not upto the mark.

The 57-year-old has been a part of movies like "Darr", "Gadar: Ek Prem Katha" and "Yamla Pagla Deewana".

"I am my biggest critic. I know best where I am right and wrong. At times you will not see me happy when people say, 'Wow, what a shot'. I feel, 'What was this, I didn't deliver what I want to'," said Sunny, whose latest movie "Singh Saab The Great" released Friday.

Ehsaan Noorani off to Mecca

Singer-musician Ehsaan Noorani has embarked on a religious journey to Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia.

Noorani, who is a part of the famous Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio, informed his fans of his trip via Twitter.

"Embarking tomorrow on a very significant and important journey in my life to Mecca and Medina its going to be intense and up lifting," Noorani tweeted Friday.

He has composed many songs for movies like "Kal Ho Naa Ho", "Dil Chahta Hai" and "Bunty Aur Babli".
