Karkala, Apr 8: Hosa Sanje Balaga organized a unique humour programme at Shivgiri jungle near Parpale Caves, a kilometre away from the city here.
True to its humorous spirit and atmosphere, the function began with the valedictory remarks and ended with the welcome speech. This innovation was appreciated by the participants. A few appear to have initially thought that the organizers were a bit confused and got mixed up with the speeches. But the soon after they realized that being a humour programme, it was meant to be so and they all laughed it over.
Nityananda Pai, Jayavant Kamath, Radhakrishna Todikana, Ramachandra Nayak, Subhash Kamath and others were present.
'Hosa Sanje' magazine editor and his team had organized the programme. Local journalists and invitees presented their own jokes.
