Udupi, Apr 7: Lions District 324-D4 has sponsored two new Lions Clubs in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Speaking to press persons Lions District Governor Prof Wilfred R D’Souza said that though the members for the clubs have been registered and the office bearers elected, the UAE government is yet to give us approval.

Lions International has been pursuing the issue with the UAE government and International President Ashok Mehta is expected to inaugurate the clubs by the end of April.

Lions District Cabinet Joint Secretary Oliver Luis, District PRO U Damodar, district coordinator George Samuel, Kunz Monu and others were present at the press meeting.
