Mangalore, Apr 6: Being the first of its kind in the country, a diploma course in Real Estate Management will be offered by St Aloysius Evening College here.  This was informed in a press release by Fr Vincent Pinto, principal of St Aloysius Evening College. The course will commence in August 2006.

The course is initiated with the purpose of rendering authentic real estate knowledge and expertise to those interested in real estate management. It will be useful for bank officials, investors, financial advisors, tax planners, real estate employees etc.

The course will consist of the meaning, scope, essentials and economics of real estate investment and management, aspects of transfer of property, real estate laws and government regulations, functioning of property transactions including housing finance, accounting and taxation issues, consumer rights, property insurance and disaster management.
