But here is an incident wherein a person has been arrested by Sullia police for sexually outraging a class VI boy.

The arrested has been identified as Mohammad.  He was working for a landlord here.  He has been accused of sexually harassing one Shivanand.  Shivanand's father too works for the same landlord.  So he used to accompany his father at times.

Mohammad is said to have used the boy to satisfy his carnal desires during one of these visits by the latter.  He lured the boy to come to the betel nut garden and sexually exploited him.

The case came to light when the boy reported of severe pain all over his body.  So he was taken to the hospital where the doctor confirmed that the boy had been sexually abused.

Shocked and enraged by this Shivanand's father lodged a complaint with the Sullia police who managed to arrest Mohammad while he was travelling on a mobike along with his wife.
