Udupi, Apr 3: The ongoing evaluation of the SSLC answer papers faced a sudden jolt on Sunday April 2 after the evaluators went on a boycott for few hours.  The evaluation was resumed later on.

Recently the government had announced about the mid-term compensation of 10% to the government employees.  The government had also announced a special provision of Rs 200 for the higher primary teachers.

But while reporting, a leading daily had reported that the government had also announced the special provision for the high school teachers.  Having read this, the evaluators boycotted the evaluation demanding provision for them as reported in the newspaper.

However, the evaluators resumed evaluation after their symbolic boycott.
