Mangalore, Apr 1: 'Udayavani' city office, which had been operating from City Point near V S Kudva circle in Kodialbail for many year, made a 'smart move' by relocating in the Manasa Towers near PVS circle on Mahatma Gandhi Road on Friday.

Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala, inaugurated the new premises and commended the role played by the daily in the daily life of the local populace over the past 37 years.

Group managing editor T Mohandas Pai, executive editor and managing director T Satish U Pai, executive director Gautam Pai, Taranga weekly's managing editor Sandhya S Pai, Udayavani editor N Gururaj, Manipal Media Network vice president Sunil Kini, senior Damodar Nayak, chief circulation officer Krishna Nairi and others were present.

The function was attended by many well-wishers, members of the media and advertising community and readers. City bureau chief Manohar Prasad welcomed and marketing head Ramachandra Mijar thanked everyone for the success of the function.
