Mangalore, Mar 30: Ranjitha (22), daughter of Balakrishna Poojary of Suryodaya Colony of Shaktinagar near here was found dead at Panambur beach on Wednesday March 29 evening. The sources said that she committed suicide.
Ranjitha was working as a clerk in one of the city based firms. She was the only daughter of her parents. On Wednesday morning, she had left home for office as usual. But she did not report to the office. However, she was found dead at Panambur beach in the evening.
Though more details and reason behind her suicide are not yet established, it is said that she had taken loan from many persons. But she had failed in repaying the loan.
Some sources also said that she had received a call from a person summoning her to Panambur beach. But the Panambur police are yet to confirm any of these sources.
The Panambur police have registered a case in this regard.
