Moodbidri, Mar 23: The mighty Lord Haunman who scaled the ocean as a messenger of Lord Rama, housed in his heart utmost devotion to the lord. The same devotion in a ‘mighty’ form will soon be seen in Moodbidri which will witness the unveiling of the 71 foot tall statue of Sanjeevini Hanuman.
Shimoga Shrikashinath, the Karnataka State award winner along with his team is on this mega venture of building the statue which presents Lord Hanuman carrying the Sanjivini Mountain.
The construction of the statue is under way near the welcome arch of Hosanad Kodyadka Devki Annapoorneshwari Temple, a pilgrim centre near Moodbidri.
The construction began with the divine inspiration and with the assistance of thousands of devotees and will be complete during the coming Navaratri celebrations.
