Mysore, Mar 22: It is said the nature's wonders always come in small sizes and here is a classic example of this adage. The gifted young talent here is R. Raghavi, who is just five-year-old but her general knowledge and above all the memory power put even the talented youngsters into a shade.

The genius in Raghavi was noticed while she was just two-year-old by her parents Rangarajan and Gayathri, residents of Saraswathipuram. Now, the Inner Wheel Club of Brindavan is facilitating all efforts to bring this young prodigy's genius to the outside world.

It was only the beginning and first of Raghavi's talent coming out for the world to know, when she displayed her talent at a press meet held at Pathrakarthakra Bhavan yesterday.

Vijayalakshmi Krishnamurthy of the club had called the press meet and it was an hour of breathtaking talent flowing out of young Raghavi's mind.

The audience were surprised when Raghavi, an LKG student of St. Joseph's School, answered many questions effortlessly. Ask her who is the author of Wings of Fire and pat comes the answer — Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

Which is the only city in a developed country, where no newspaper is printed? unperturbed Raghavi answered much to the surprise of media persons that it is Canberra in Australia.

Raghavi answered every question shot at her, be it on the capital cities of various countries, multiplications and divisions of numbers, spellings of tough English words and questions on science topics.

While the audience shot questions with doubts writ large on their faces as to whether Raghavi could give the right answer, she was all calm and composed and was shooting back answers that is very unusual for such a young mind.

Vijayalakshmi said, the efforts are on to take her name to the country's Limca Book of Records and later to the Guinness Book of World Records. Club Secretary Vasanthi Bhaskar was present at the press meet.
