Mangalore, Mar 22: Eminent entrepreneur, social activist and resident of Kudroli Narayanguru Education Institutions, Navinchandra D Suvarna has been re-elected as the president of All India Billava Union.
He was elected president of the union during the annual meeting of the union held recently here which was presided over by senior Billava leader P Sadhu.
Navinchandra D Suvarna has been an eminent leader of the Billava community for long. He is also the president of Federation of Backward Classes of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.
Sadhu P was elected as vice president and Shivanand Karkera and Vasanti J Poojary were elected as the general secretary of the union. Loknath has been elected as the treasurer of the union.
