Mangalore, Mar 22: "Canara Bank is all set to extend the Core Banking Solution facility to 1,053 branches by the end of the year 2006.  Core banking facility is indeed of great help to the customers and we are trying out best to satisfy the customers," said Damodar Pai, deputy general manager of Canara Bank circle office.

He was chairing the customers’ meet of the Gandhinagar branch of Canara Bank on Monday March 20.

Giridhar Prabhu, owner of the Achal Industries, who recently won ISB certificate, was felicitated on the occasion.  Along with him, the senior customers Sadanand Prabhu, Vitthal Shenoy and A V Kamat too were honoured on the occasion.

Assistant general manager of the bank K S Bhat informed the customers about the growth of the bank over a period of time.

Senior manager Prakash Hande welcomed the gathering while manager K P Bhat proposed the vote of thanks.  Nagraj Bhagvat compered the programme.
