'Boss' loses box office momentum - collect 36.6 Crore

Mumbai, Oct 21: Akshay Kumar starrer 'Boss' has returned with some very disappointing box office numbers resulting in the movie being a huge loss. 'Boss' is a remake of a Malayalam movie and is an action packed comedy movie.

There was a huge hype about the movie which includes a number of dance numbers, snappy dialogues, stunt scenes etc. Although some of the loyal fans have added a good review the movie returned with an average of a one star movie.

The opening day of the movie resulted in a profit of only Rs 11 crores, being a public holiday this was much lower than the expectancy.

The five day weekend at times in Bollywood seems like a good deal, where film makers try to publicize their film and hope that fans and movie buffs will make use of the holiday time; but 'Boss' ended up with a net income of Rs 36.6 crore only

The film has definitely raked in more moolah than 'Rowdy Rathore' but hopefully it will stick onto the screen for a longer time.
