'Daawat-e-Ishq' takes off, Anupam nervous


Mumbai, Oct 17 (IANS): The shooting for Yash Raj Films' "Daawat-e-Ishq" started Thursday and seasoned actor Anupam Kher got cold feet on the first day of the shoot.

"The more I think I know about acting, the more nervous and insecure I feel on the first day of the shoot...YRF's 'Daawat-e-ishq' takes off," Anupam posted on Twitter Thursday.

Parineeti Chopra, Aditya Roy Kapur and Karan Wahi will join Anupam in the cast of the film which will be readied for a 2014 release.

It's time for comedy for Farah

Known for her sense of humour, Farah Khan is very excited about being part of popular comedy show "Comedy Nights With Kapil".

A massive fire broke out on the set of the show Sep 25 in Film City. Now, a new set has been put up and Farah will be the first guest on it.

"Very excited to now go on my favourite show 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' ...so glad they called me as the first guest on their brand new set!," Farah posted on Twitter Thursday.

The likes of Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone have already been on the comedy show.

Kirti undergoes rigorous training for 'Sooper Se Ooper'

After playing an aspiring actress in Bejoy Nambiar's "Shaitan", Kirti Kulhari will be seen playing a similar role in "Sooper Se Ooper". She has been putting in a lot of hard work to prepare for the role.

"Kriti, who analyzed her acting in 'Shaitan', has undergone rigorous workshops to get into the skin of her character," a source close to the actress said in a statement.

Directed by Shekhar Ghosh, "Sooper Se Ooper" is a family entertainer. The film stars Vir Das in the lead along with Deepak Dobriyal, Gulshan Grover and Yashpal Sharma.
