Mangalore, Mar 15:  The valedictory function of the two-day South India level MCA and MSc (Bioinformatics) Paper Presentation competition ‘Anveeksha 06’, organized by Aloysius Institute of Computer Sciences, was held on Tuesday March 14 here.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr K M Hebbar of NMAMIT Department of Computer Engineering urged the students to explore and study the mysterious world of computers. He refuted the concept that mathematics excelled everything and said that there are things beyond mathematics.

He added that scientists at present are talking about computing powers and links between living organisms and computer.

Dr Eugene Lobo, principal, said that the programme had paved the way for the students to get exposed to recent developments in the field of Computer Science and Bio-Informatics.
