Mangalore, Mar 15: The entire city will be in darkness on Wednesday March 15 with the Mangalore Electricity Supply Company (MESCOM) undertaking urgent repair works.

Owing to some repair works at Kulshekar substation, the areas in and around the city which are supplied electricity from this substation would be facing power cut from 10 am to 4 pm on Wednesday.

Accordingly, there will be no power supply to Kadri, Akashvani, KSRTC, Nantoor, Pintos' Lane, Karangalpady, Kudmal Rangarao Road, Aloysius ITI Road, Batragudde, Bijai Church, Bijai New Road, Anegundi, Saibeen Complex, Circuit House, Valencia, Gorigudda, Gurpur, Kaikamba, Kulshekar, Neermarg, Shaktinagar, Mallur, Yeyyady Industrial Area, Kannur, Adyarpadav, Valacchil, Merlapadav, Arkula, Kankanady, Bendorewell, Balmata, Hampankatta, Pumpwell areas.

So also Jyoti, Milagres Cross Road, Kudumbi Garden, Shivbagh, Bunts Hostel, Light House Hill, Arya Samaj Road, Karavali Lane, Mallikatte, Kadri Temple Road, Mulihitlu, Suterpet, Majila, Nehru Road, Balikashram Road, Jalligudde, Pakkaladka, Karmar and surrounding areas will face power cut owing to the repair works, stated a MESCOM press release.
