Mangalore, Mar 14: Shilpa Shetty (18), resident of Pakkaladka near Bajal here ended her life by jumping into a well on Tuesday March 14 morning.
Shilpa was the daughter of the late Sadashiv Shetty of Pakkaladka. She was working in the city for sometime now. On Tuesday she had left as usual for work. But on her way to the bus stand, she jumped into a well and ended her life. Though the passers by pulled her out of the well and rushed her to the hospital, she had breathed her last by that time.
Reasons behind her suicide are yet unknown. Though some sources said that she was disturbed by some troubles at home, it is yet to be confirmed by a detailed police enquiry.
The Kankanady police have registered a case in this regard.
