Sultry Wednesday in Delhi, Thursday likely to be cloudy


New Delhi, Oct 9 (IANS): The national capital experienced a sunny and sultry Thursday with the maximum temperature recorded two notches above average at 35.6 degree Celsius. The Met office has forecast a cloudy Thursday.

"The skies will remain cloudy with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 35 degree Celsius," said an official of India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The minimum temperature was recorded four notches above average at 24.8 degree Celsius. Humidity hovered between 84 to 55 percent.

Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 33.8 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year. The minimum temperature was recorded three notches above the season's average at 24.3 degrees Celsius.
