Three-storey building collapses in Delhi


New Delhi, Oct 9 (IANS): At least two people were injured and few are feared trapped in debris of a three-storey building that collapsed here Wednesday morning, police said.

The incident happened at Bara Hindu Rao area of Delhi at around 7.30 a.m.

"Two people have been taken to nearby hospital while few more are fear to be trapped under the debris of the building," Deputy Commissioner of Police Sindhu Pillai told IANS.

Delhi fire department, disaster management team and policemen have been pressed into rescue operation, said the official.
