Central varsity gets defence land


New Delhi, Oct 8 (IANS): The Cabinet Tuesday approved transferring 300 acres of defence land at an abandoned airfield at Panchanpur in Gaya to the human resource development ministry for setting up a central university, a statement said.

According to the statement, the transfer will enable the development of a central university in Bihar which will serve the national cause for quality higher education, research and training in unserved and under-served areas.
