Congress playing politics over Telangana: BJP

New Delhi, Oct 7 (IANS): The BJP Monday accused the Congress of playing politics in Telangana as Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N. Chandrababu Naidu began an indefinite fast in the capital against the proposal to split Andhra Pradesh.

"The Congress is playing politics over the Telangana issue to arrange votes. It uses the CBI to get allies. This is not good for the country," BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain told reporters.

The BJP which supports the demand for a separate Telangana urged the government to handle the issue with care and appealed for peace in the region.
