Partly cloudy day ahead in Delhi


New Delhi, Oct 5 (IANS): It was a pleasant Saturday morning in the national capital, with the minimum temperature recorded a notch above the season's average at 22.3 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast cloudy day ahead.

"The skies will become generally cloudy," an official from the India Meteorological Department said.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 32 degrees Celsius. The city has received a total of 2.3 mm rainfall in 24 hours.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m was 79 percent.

Friday was Delhi's coldest Oct 4 in five years, with the maximum temperature dropped eight notches to 26.1 degrees Celsius as parts of the city were lashed by rains. The minimum temperature Friday was 22.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
