TRS chief hails cabinet decision on Telangana

Hyderabad, Oct 3 (IANS): Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao has welcomed the union cabinet's decision to carve out separate Telangana state.

KCR, as Rao is popularly known, thanked the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government for the decision taken by the cabinet.

He, however, appealed to Telangana people to remain alert till parliament passed a resolution for formation of Telangana state.
