Two killed in Nepal plane crash


Kathmandu, Oct 3 (IANS): Two people, including a Chinese tourist, were killed Thursday morning when a small aircraft crashed in Pokhara in Nepal.

The aircraft belonged to Avia Club and it crashed at Shanti Stupa, Xinhua reported.

The pilot was identified as Stephen Shrestha, who was also the proprietor of Avia Club. “Both died on the spot," said Krishna Bari Baral, a Pokhara resident.

Pokhara, a major tourist hub, is about 200 km west of Kathmandu.
